Subnecto 2.0
Lukas Linemayr released its long awaited Subnecto 2.0.

Furthermore, the translation team was again really busy recently. Core components like the GUI Dialogs, Installation, Desktop, etc. are now available in 27 languages, including: Afrikaans, Arabic, Bulgarian, Catalan, Chinese simplified, Chinese traditional, Czech, Danish, Dutch, German, English, Spanish, Esperanto, Estonian, French, Hungarian, Italian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Portuguese (BR), Romanian, Russian, Slovak, Swedish, Tagalog, and Turkish.

Suggestion

How about using transparency in a useful way too. OSen generally let you set the transparency of a window, but this seems kinda useless to me. Instead, why not have windows in the non-active layer automatically become transparent so you can see beneath them, but have the active layer be opaque (or maybe use user-defined transparency? Just my .02...

Fortunately with the next

Fortunately with the next build this is no problem at all. Indeed, an application can set its transparency level with just one line of code, and this on all graphic cards, even when running on VESA

Partial transparency?

How about using transparency on the frame only and have the content and buttons opaque? Possible?
