I've been trying to chase this one down for a while, it has been happening with the past few builds, but I haven't been able to get SkyOS to do it, while I'm in debug mode. I'm not quite sure what causes it. Maybe the log can help. SkyOS just locks up, doesn't respond to mouse movements, and pressing key's on the keyboard will not get the panel menu to open. ctrl+alt+delete does open the kernel debugger though. I had been copying a few files to SkyOS using Samba and changing theme files. |

I managed to get it to happen again. It looks like it happens when you are editing a datacollection for a theme currently applied. |

sounds a lot like those lockups I am having. in kerneldebugger, type: threadlist You will probably see that a few processes are waiting for a semaphore writelock, one of them being skygi which is why the gui does not respond. As far as I know, I never really saw anything in the log hinting at the cause. I usually have it when doing stuff in 2 terminals at the same time. |
