Hm, did you ever have these issues with VMWare Fusion before 2.2? Debug log would certainly be needed.

Can confirm this bug, in the newest VMWare Fusion build; No matter how much you try to move the mouse, once you have reached the SkyOS LiveCD desktop, the cursor will always return to where it was when the LiveCD Desktop was loaded. However, mouse works fine at the Serial and Login screens.

I booted into 6945 Alpha (installed system) too, and the issue still remains, once the desktop is reached, the mouse refuses to move properly.

I have attached a debug log, for Beta 6947. This bug makes it pretty much impossible to install.

*Note, this version of VMWare Fusion is vile to use compared to the previous versions, worth downgrading in my opinion!

Try disabling the vmware tools service if you can. It might not be compatible with Fusion.

Sounds like EMC (VMware folks) changed some internal workings. I think I'll take this on for Robert.

Rafael; Did you manage to get hold of the sources? This is quite an annoying bug, as it has affected all my SkyOS installs I had before the upgrade!

Robert: Do you think the vmware service should be disabled by default since it can cause issues in Vmware workstation as well?

Vmware server also has issues with the mouse. disabling the vmware service is the only solution for now

This is no longer and issue, as of VMWare Fusion Build 2.0 (116369).
